Burkina
Faso
with the opportunity to
achieve a
 measure
of
 self‐sufficiency
 while
 preaching
 the
gospel
message. We
work
 to
 accomplish
this
 mission
 through
elementary
education,
adult
 English biblical
 education
and
by
ensuring
 the
well
 being
of
 children
through
 medical
and food
aid,
 thereby
providing
 them
the
 opportunity
 to
live
healthy
and
productive
lives.

My name is Hunter Willis, and I am a graduate of Hampden-Sydney College. I am a missionary, a member of Commonwealth Chapel in Richmond, VA and have been doing mission work with Pastor Jeremie Nitiema in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.

Pastor Jeremie Nitiema came to us through YWAM, Virginia and when I met him, I instantly felt a strong calling to serve him. Since that day in Nov. 2008, together we have provided medicine and education for hundreds of children and dozens of adults in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. Our outreach in Burkina Faso serves Muslims, Animists and Christians alike. It is our prayer that through our service to God’s children of all religious and ethno-linguistic backgrounds they will come to know Jesus and his love.

Commonwealth Chapel’s mission is to bring Hope, Healing and Health to the city of Richmond through Prayer, Mission and Worship. In becoming active in missions and working with Commonwealth Chapel, I have met dozens of wonderful people who are doing amazing things right here in Richmond, VA. It has been a blessing and a joy to have the privilege to serve domestically and abroad.
