Thanks to a donation from the Rappahannock Rotary Club, we have now fully funded our Orphanage project. Pastor Jeremie has already been to Targho with workers to plan the actual site and construction, and the building itself should be completed within a few weeks. To my knowledge, they have already struck ground.
Initial Project Description:
The orphanage will consist of a three building facility (one of which
is already constructed). One will be split with a sleeping area and an
office/meeting area, and the other will consist solely of living
quarters. The facilities will be made of cement brick, so they will
not be the two-five year temporary structure as is common here, and
will have finished floors and windows. We will also provide beds and
sleeping nets, which will likely be only such items in Targho when
installed. The living area will be walled for safety/anti-theft
purposes.
The third, already existing facility is a small food prep/storage
building.
The facility will be staffed with young women from the church in
Targho who will be paid a minimum salary, and will be staffed
with a night guard as well

So, a HUGE thanks to Rotary for all the support and guidance they have already given, and I pray that God bless all those involved! Big Praises for continued success in Burkina Faso!
